Baume et Mercier Automatic GMT Mens watch 10272. Part of the Classima series. Dynamic yet classically designed, this 40 mm dual time automatic watch offers a sophisticated style and a Swiss-made self-winding movement.

Baume & Mercier’s story begins in 1830. Brothers Louis-Victor and Célestin Baume opened a comptoir horloger (watch dealership) in Les Bois, a village in the Swiss Jura. The Baume brothers’ business grew rapidly, and true to their motto, “accept only perfection, only manufacture watches of the highest quality”, they forged a fine reputation through the creation of exceptional timepieces featuring the latest innovations. Baume et Mercier follow the same principles today.
The white dial features steel Roman numerals, line guilloché décor and a date aperture at 3 o’clock. Blue hour, minute and second hands are paired with a second blue tipped steep hour hand and a 24-hour timescale around the edge of the dial. A blue alligator leather strap completes the modern appeal of the Classima 10272.

The Classima 10272 features a Swiss made self winding Automatic movement with 21 jewels and a frequency of 28800 vph / 4 Hz. The Stainless steel case has a 40mm diameter and uses Sapphire crystal glass and has a water resistant rating of 50m. The dial itself is classic white with applied Silver markers and Blued hands. Functions include Date and a GMT hand.
