The N°03 is a real MeisterSinger icon. All the aesthetic principles that characterize the entire collection to this day are reflected in its design: The functional typography with its complete set of double-digit hour numerals, the circumferential five-minute divisions and, above all, the single, needle-fine hour hand.
MeisterSinger Watch N. 03 40mm DM902C. MeisterSinger mechanical watches display the time in a traditional way and with great precision, using only one hand. This hand is longer and more tapered than a conventional hour hand and points exactly to the fine, five-minute markings on the edge of the dial, just like the first mechanical timepieces used to, right up to the 18th century at the dawn of the industrial revolution. MeisterSinger watches thus literally point to that one fleeting moment in time, our true reality, thereby conveying a tranquil sense of time, as a great many enthusiastic MeisterSinger customers will testify.
Equipped with a Sellita SW200 automatic movement made in Switzerland, it draws its power from the activity of the wearer – fully automatically. Under the sixfold screwed glass exhibition back of the watch, the centrally mounted oscillating gold-tone edge rotor can be observed as it transmits its energy to the mainspring barrel, which can accumulate up to 38 hours of power reserve.
The jet black dial of the N°03 40 mm Black version is adorned with fine cognac-colored highlights, a curving serif typeface, and an outer dial ring that adds depth and vibrancy to the whole ensemble. The circular date window with its cognac-colored bezel is located above the 6 o’clock position.
The DM902C stainless steel case has a diameter of 40 mm with a thickness of 10.3mm and a lug width of 20mm. This single hand watch is water-resistant up to 5 bar and fitted with a domed Sapphire Crystal glass. The N° 03 received the GOOD Design Award in the recent past.
